Going Lean: Teams prefer Agile because it reduces project waste significantly. The PMO team can help in waste management by rejecting documentation, meetings, and approval processes that are not critical.
Best Practices: Your team should form communities within the organization that can promote and encourage embracing best practices across the organization.
Standardization: When all the teams follow the same guidelines and protocols, knowledge sharing and interdepartmental collaboration become easier. The PMO team can ensure that all departments maintain the necessary standards for all their processes and assignments.
Team Coordination: Since your team overlooks several projects, you can avoid resource overlaps or collaboration gaps for dependent tasks.
Following Scrum: The PMO teams are now implementing the Scrum framework in their day-to-day management. It inspires project teams to embrace the approach with the same zeal.
